Tameside secondary school are looking to appoint an Art Teacher to commence a maternity post from April. This is a full time Art teaching positon delivering KS3/KS4 Art across years 7-11. The successful Art teacher will be given the opportunity to work within a Good graded Ofsted school where students regularly achieve above national averages and are respectful to their peers.

A mixed compressive the school has around 800 students with an above average Progress 8 score currently. There are low levels of students who use English as an additional language as well as low levels of SEN throughout school. You will be given the opportunity to work within a vibrant Art and Design department, with regular training and development taking place continuously throughout the year.

The school is a picturesque building proving an enjoyable place of work for the successful Art applicant. Upon commencing this post you will need to take on full time planning and marking responsibilities and assist the department as required.

The school is located in the M34 post code of Tameside, just off the M60/M67 motorway and has a local train station and direct bus routes for those on public transport.

Essential requirements for this post;

**Qualified teacher status in the UK

**Eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS certificate

**Experience of delivering the UK curriculum

**Willingness to take on full time responsibilities
