Salary: £31,650 – £43,607 per annum (MPS/UPS)

About the Role
Our client, a well-regarded secondary school located just outside of Yeovil, is seeking a passionate and skilled Art Teacher to join their vibrant Art Department on a full-time fixed-term basis until December 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and creative environment where you will inspire students across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage artistic exploration and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons focusing on 3D art techniques and related disciplines
- Engage and motivate students of varying abilities to develop their artistic skills and creativity
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Support the wider Art curriculum development and contribute to extracurricular activities such as clubs or exhibitions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to enhance cross-curricular learning opportunities
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching secondary school students.
- Demonstrate a strong passion and expertise in 3D art forms
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students and staff
- Be adaptable, creative, and committed to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Share a commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
