Teacher of Art – Cultivate Creativity and Expression
Full-time | Permanent | September 2025 Start
Location: Salisbury
An innovative and creative secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a motivated and imaginative Teacher of Art to join its expressive arts team from September 2025. The school places strong emphasis on creativity and is keen to find someone who can inspire young artists and foster individual expression.
This role involves:

Teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4
-
Creating an inclusive and stimulating studio environment where creativity can flourish
-
Delivering engaging schemes of work covering drawing, painting, sculpture, digital media and more

Supporting students in developing their portfolios and preparing for GCSE Art assessments

Contributing to exhibitions, whole-school arts events, and local partnerships
The successful candidate will:
-
Have a degree in Art, Design, or a related discipline and hold QTS
-
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education
-
Be skilled in a range of media and comfortable guiding students of all abilities
-
Bring energy, flexibility, and originality to the classroom and department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
