Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a committed and supportive Secondary School. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality art lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering creativity, technical skills, and a love for the subject.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive Art lessons.

  • Supporting students to explore a range of artistic techniques and media.

  • Preparing pupils for GCSE Art and Design coursework and exams.

  • Contributing to whole-school events, exhibitions, and enrichment activities.

  • Assessing and tracking student progress in line with curriculum expectations.


About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • Experienced or newly qualified (ECTs are welcome to apply).

  • Passionate about art and dedicated to student success.

  • Skilled in classroom management and effective communication.

  • Knowledgeable in contemporary and traditional art practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
