Art Teacher

Length: 1 term, January - July 2024

Location: Milton Keynes

One of our client Academy's is recruiting for a Art Teacher to fulfill a supply contract through Teaching Personnel from January 2024. The school is located in Milton Keynes, easilt commutable from Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. As part of being a Art Teacher here, the expectation is you would teach Art across Year 7 to Year 11 classes alongside a supportive and dynamic team of Art Teachers. 

This is an established school which has grown year on year since 2000, where it has grown year-on-year to become one of Milton Keynes' most successful and popular schools with approximately 1500 students on roll, including Post 16. The school hosts an educational ethos rooted in the belief that an excellent education promotes a lifelong desire for learning.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Qualified Art Teacher with QTS
  • Maths Instructor with at least 2 years experience teaching Art and Design
  • Highly knowledgeable in GCSE Art and previously taught Art and Design up to KS4
  • Be passionate about teaching Art and Design and promoting learning in Art for excellent results
  • Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating Art and Design lessons
  • You will be dedicated to ensure that all children achieve their very best
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
