Job Vacancy: Part-Time Art Teacher
Location: Secondary School, Leyland
Contract Dates: November 3rd – December 19th
We are seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Art Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Leyland for a fixed-term position from November 3rd to December 19th.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons to secondary school students, helping them develop their skills and creativity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable teaching experience in a supportive and vibrant school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that meet the curriculum requirements

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback

Manage classroom resources and maintain a safe learning environment

Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and school activities
Person Specification:

Qualified teacher status or relevant teaching experience in Art

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for art and creativity

Ability to engage and motivate secondary school students

Good organisational and communication skills

Commitment to supporting the development and wellbeing of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
