Art Teacher – September 2023 start date
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Art Teacher to join a mixed secondary school based in Chiswick. It is an inclusive, community school with a focus on academic rigour and success. Their curriculum is designed to allow students to compete at the highest level. Their vision is that they do whatever it takes to ensure every student achieves their full potential.
Full time
Start date: September 2023
Location: Chiswick
Pay: £140-£180
Responsibilities:
- Developing students drawing, colouring and painting techniques
- Teaching students about art history
- Assigning and grading projects and examinations
- Ensuring that the classroom is clean after each lesson
- Recording and reporting on students progress
The ideal candidate:
- Will have outstanding planning skills and create fun and exciting lessons
- Will be supportive and patient
- Will be enthusiastic and motivating to encourage students to reach their full potential
- Will be passionate about art to create a positive environment and get students excited about art as a subject
Qualifications required:
- QTS
- PGCE
- Previous in school experience
- Previous experience as an art teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
