Job description

We’re currently working with a welcoming secondary school in South Central Birmingham who are looking for an Art Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students and bring fresh ideas to the classroom. The school has a supportive leadership team, good behaviour across the site, and a strong focus on developing both staff and students.

The role:

  • Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4

  • Full-time, long-term position (with potential to become permanent)

  • Planning and delivering engaging, imaginative lessons

  • Working as part of a friendly and collaborative department

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) and have experience teaching Art in UK secondary schools

  • Be passionate about helping students express themselves through Art and design

  • Have strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Be available to start immediately or at short notice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
