Job description

The Role:

The school are looking to appoint a Teacher of Art to look after their secondary school pupils and take part in marking setting and receiving coursework, delivering homework and being an active member of the school community. You may also have the opportunity to have your own tutor group.

The ideal teacher would have:

  • A proven track record for improving attainment
  • A passionate and positive attitude towards teaching
  • The ability to commit to what could become a permanent position

The school is a successful school in Basingstoke that is looking to raise attainment and increase its already popular local reputation. There are excellent traveling routes whether you would be using car or public transport with the M3 and local railway station for London, Reading and the South.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
