Art & Design Technology Teacher – Chorley

Full-Time | Start Date: 2nd February
Secondary School Position

We are seeking a creative, passionate, and dedicated Art and Design Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Chorley. This is a full‑time role beginning on 2nd February, offering the chance to inspire students across KS3 and KS4 within a supportive and well‑resourced department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high‑quality Art and DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
  • Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that promote creativity and practical skill development
  • Support students in developing confidence in both traditional and contemporary art and design techniques
  • Contribute to the department’s wider curriculum, projects, and displays
  • Play an active role in the school community and collaborate with fellow staff

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge across Art and Design Technology
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school environment
  • A passion for inspiring creativity and innovation
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to commit full‑time from the 2nd February start date

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
