I am currently working with a large mixed comprehensive school based in the Croydon area, which are looking for experienced Art teacher, with a proven track record and excellent subject knowledge in Photography. This school has a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, where they value staff happiness. Their aim is to create a team atmosphere were all teachers enjoy their role within the school and fully support the comprehensive ethos. The school is very high achieving and cover KS3-KS5; they are looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge who is able to push the attainment of their students, as well as creating challenging and innovative lesson plans. Within the Science department they are currently following the Edexcel syllabus across both GCSE and A level, having a good knowledge of this would be an advantage.

There are great transport links to the school with street parking and very frequent buses to the Northern Line. The school is set in a suburban area, where many of the students are from. Behaviour is rated ‘Good’ across the school.
