Job Title: Art & Design Teacher

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Part time would also be considered)

Job Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester

Job Salary: £28,000 - £44,000 (FTE equivalent if part time)

 

Are you currently seeking a new role in Education to start in the new academic year? Teaching Personnel Permanent Work Force are currently working alongside an Ofsted rated 'Good' Further Education College who are actively seeking to bring in another Art & Design Teacher to add to their team. 

 

The main duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and form tutor
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
  • To contribute to raising standards of achievement and maximising student attainment
  • To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth

 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • A recognised Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
  • A relevant degree in the subject area (Bachelors minimum)
  • Previous experience teaching the subject up to GCSE within a College setting
  • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or an Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
