Teaching Personnel is proud to be supporting a secondary school in Liverpool in their search for a talented and motivated Art and Design Teacher to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your creativity into the classroom and help students explore their artistic potential.

The Role:
As an Art and Design Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons in Art and Design to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Develop students' creativity, critical thinking, and practical artistic skills

  • Plan and prepare lessons and schemes of work in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage exploration of various techniques and mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art

  • Support students in building portfolios and preparing for GCSE assessments

  • Work collaboratively within the Creative Arts department and contribute to extracurricular activities such as exhibitions and clubs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification

  • A degree in Art, Fine Art, Design, or a related creative discipline

  • Passion for nurturing creativity and individual expression

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage all learners

  • Confidence in delivering practical and theory-based content
