Are you a Drama Graduate looking for experience in SEN Schools?

Teaching Personnel are working with a broad range of provisions across the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area. Our clients cater for a range of SEN pupils including Autism, Mental Health Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties.

Our clients are looking for candidates who have a background in Drama who can bring creative and engaging support to children within SEN provisions across the county. Predominantly the roles will be to work as a Teaching Assistant whilst additionally utilising Drama skills to engage pupils with their education.

Do you have the following skills or attributes?

• Drama qualifications (A Level or higher)
• Experience working with young people who present with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, Mental Health Difficulties and Learning Difficulties
• Calm and patient, nurturing personality
• Confident to work in a variety of settings with a range of young people
• Able to work with a range of professionals and multi-disciplinary teams
• Be willing to get involved in extra-curricular activities including residential trips into the community

The work we have available is extremely variable and includes working in SEN Schools, Nurture Units, Pupil Referral Units or 1:1 with Looked After Pupils in the community.
