ALN Teaching Assistant
Treorchy
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an ALN Teaching Assistant to support children within a secondary school in the Treorchy area. You will be supporting students across KS3 & KS4 who have a variety of different additional learning needs i.e. Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia etc. This position is running till the end of the academic year (July 2023) and the school have indicated there is scope for a permanent position for the right person. This role is available to start immediately and interviews are being held over the next 2 weeks.
ALN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Valid registration with the EWC
- Minimum 5 GCSEs in core subjects
- Passion for education
- Patient & caring nature

ALN Teaching Assistant Overview:
- Supporting students in KS3 & KS4 with any needs they have
- Provide academic & emotional support for any students
- Partnered with a variety of students with different needs throughout the school day
- Work as part of a team of support staff
- Communicate with ALN department
- Follow school procedures & policy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
