ALN Teaching Assistant

Primary School | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity
Teaching Personnel are recruiting an ALN Teaching Assistant to work within a Cardiff primary school supporting pupils across Key Stage 1.
Rather than remaining with one pupil throughout the day, you'll work across several intervention groups, helping children access learning through tailored support.
The Role
You will:
- Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
- Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs
- Encourage communication and classroom participation
- Help pupils develop confidence and independence
- Work closely with teachers to monitor progress
- Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children with ALN
- Can motivate and encourage young learners
- Enjoys working with small groups
- Is organised and proactive
- Has excellent communication skills
Working Through Teaching Personnel
- £13.75+ per hour
- Weekly PAYE pay

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
