Teaching Assistant

About the job:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team as a full-time teaching assistant at a Secondary School based in Cwmbran. This is a long-term role ideal for someone who is passionate about the education system and who thrives in a fast pace and dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist teachers and other staff members to deliver an engaging learning experience
- Assist with daily routines, classroom management and encourage positive behaviours
- The ability to show empathy and compassion to students who require additional support
- Support all pupils with their academic, emotional and social development
- Assist in preparing new learning materials where required
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate)
- Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we will assist you in obtaining this!)
- Registered to the Education Workforce council (mandatory in Wales)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
