About the job:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team as a full-time teaching assistant at a Secondary School based in Cwmbran. This is a long-term role ideal for someone who is passionate about the education system and who thrives in a fast pace and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist teachers and other staff members to deliver an engaging learning experience
• Assist with daily routines, classroom management and encourage positive behaviours
•  The ability to show empathy and compassion to students who require additional support
• Support all pupils with their academic, emotional and social development
• Assist in preparing new learning materials where required

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate)
• Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we will assist you in obtaining this!)
• Registered to the Education Workforce council (mandatory in Wales)
