Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking a role in an SEN setting?
If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in an Blackburn based School which caters for pupils with special educational needs, in particular, Autism. The School is smaller than average and the pupils in this School can often be fairly challenging. The pupils in this School can also be physically disabled and have a range of additional needs such as ADHD, SEMH difficulties and Autism.
The role will be full time and you will be expected to support a number of pupils with different needs and you will be expected to assist the Teacher in the day to day running of the classroom. You may be expected to provide personal care for some pupils where necessary.
The candidate must be hard working, have experience working with pupils with SEN and be flexible as the position WILL start on a supply basis and work may be part time or ad-hoc to begin with.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
