Salary – MPS-UPS – Pro Rata

Teaching Personnel are working with an outstanding college based in London, they are looking for a part time A-Level Maths to join there dedicated team.

The job is ideal for well-qualified candidates who are passionate about their subject and have high expectations for their students and themselves. Previous teaching experience is preferred, with or without a teaching qualification, as is a proven commitment to academic excellence.

Person Specification

  • Possess a University degree.
  • Teaching Experience: Extensive teaching experience in the subject area, preferably at the secondary and sixth form school experience, with a strong track record of effective instruction and student engagement.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the subject curriculum for the relevant level.
  • Embody collaboration with enthusiasm for working alongside colleagues.
  • Exhibit principles, thoughtfulness, and intentionality in decisionmaking and actions.
  • Have a growth mindset and value innovation as a route to improvement and growth.
  • Build and foster relationships characterised by kindness, care, empathy, and respect with colleagues, students and families.
  • Be a reflective practitioner open to others' perspectives.
  • Embrace and use technology as a tool for teaching and learning.

This College is based in Central London, near to motorway routes and public transport links. Parking will be available on site.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
