Are you seeking a rewarding new role working with special needs children?

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a school based in the South Ockendon area. We are looking to recruit passionate Learning Support Assistants to work alongside children and young people with a multitude of Special Needs. These roles are to work on a full basis.

Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children across all Key Stages, accompanied by a Teacher and other Support Assistants. You will be working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs such as; MLD, PMLD, SLD, Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome and Physical Disabilities.

The successful candidate must have experience with some of the following:

  • Experience working with people with SEN / Disabilities
  • Confidence supporting children and young people with different types of SEN
  • Previous experience as a Care / Support Worker
  • Work within a Specialist Provision or SEN school

Teaching Personnel can offer SEN Teaching Assistants:

  • Weekly pay of £350 - £450 per week
  • Access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications and knowledge of the field such as: Autism Awareness, Safeguarding, Team Teach and more
  • An experienced consultant along with our dedicated on call service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
