TP Tutors is growing across Farnborough, and we are seeking committed SEN Tutors to provide bespoke 1:1 and small group tuition for learners with additional needs.

Role Overview

Position: SEN Tutor (Specialist 1:1 Support)
Location: Farnborough – learner homes / community settings / flexible delivery
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time


What You’ll Do

✔ Deliver structured sessions aligned with EHCP targets
✔ Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and additional needs
✔ Identify academic gaps and create achievable step-by-step plans
✔ Support learners disengaged from mainstream education
✔ Use trauma-informed and differentiated teaching approaches
✔ Develop consistent, supportive relationships
✔ Provide clear and professional progress reporting

Your support will directly impact both attainment and emotional development.


✅ What We’re Looking For

• SEN experience supporting children or young people
• Understanding of inclusive, adaptive teaching practices
• Experience working with SEND and SEMH learners
• Calm, nurturing and solution-focused approach
• Strong safeguarding standards
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Qualified teachers, SEN specialists, tutors, HLTAs, TAs and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
