Are you an experienced SEN professional looking for a flexible role where your work genuinely transforms lives?

TP Tutors is expanding in Aldershot, and we are looking for compassionate, skilled SEN Tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 and small group support to children and young people with additional needs.

Role Overview

Position: SEN Tutor (1:1 & Specialist Provision)
Location: Aldershot – homes, community venues, and flexible learning settings
Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time (flexible to suit you)


Your Impact

✔ Design and deliver tailored sessions linked to EHCP outcomes
✔ Support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and complex needs
✔ Evaluate starting points and map out achievable learning journeys
✔ Re-engage pupils who may be out of school or struggling in mainstream settings
✔ Apply differentiated and therapeutic-informed strategies
✔ Build strong, trusting relationships that support emotional wellbeing
✔ Share regular progress updates with families and professionals

You will play a vital role in rebuilding confidence and reigniting a love of learning.


✅ About You

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Strong knowledge of adaptive and inclusive teaching methods
• Understanding of SEND and SEMH barriers to education
• Patient, empathetic and resilient approach
• Strong safeguarding awareness
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
