Help Learners Build Confidence and Reach Their Potential

TP Tutors is looking to recruit enthusiastic SEN Tutors to deliver high-quality one-to-one tuition across Chatham and surrounding areas.

In this rewarding role, you'll support children and young people with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and a range of additional educational needs. Your tuition will help learners stay engaged with education, improve their confidence, and make meaningful academic progress.

Location: Chatham and surrounding areas

What does the role offer?
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community venues, or learners' homes

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?
• Provide tailored one-to-one tuition
• Modify lessons to suit individual learner requirements
• Encourage confidence and independent study skills
• Track and document learner progress
• Develop strong working relationships with families, schools, and professionals

What experience is required?
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
• Previous experience in tutoring, education, mentoring, youth work, or similar settings
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
• Ability to travel within Chatham and surrounding areas
• Strong communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
