Empower Voices as a TP ESOL Tutor – Open Doors Through Language

Are you passionate about language learning and eager to help students find their voice in English? TP Tutors is looking for dedicated ESOL Tutors to deliver personalised, one-to-one tuition across Kent and Medway, helping learners build confidence, fluency, and practical communication skills.

You'll work with learners from a variety of backgrounds, supporting them to develop their English language abilities for everyday life, education, employment, and community engagement. Through tailored tuition, you'll help students gain the confidence they need to thrive.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?
• Design and deliver personalised ESOL lessons tailored to learner goals
• Support learners with conversational English, academic language, or workplace communication
• Use engaging resources, role-play activities, and real-life scenarios to develop fluency
• Monitor progress, provide feedback, and celebrate learner achievements
• Apply trauma-informed and learner-centred approaches to create a safe learning environment

What experience is required?
• ESOL/ESL qualification or equivalent teaching experience
• Experience supporting learners from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to adapt teaching materials and approaches to individual learner needs
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel within Kent, Medway and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
