Job description

Inspire Success Through Individual Tuition

TP Tutors is recruiting dedicated SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

Support learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs by delivering tailored tuition that builds confidence, engagement, and academic progress.

Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community venues, or learners' homes

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition
  • Adapt lessons to individual learning needs
  • Encourage confidence and independent learning
  • Monitor and record learner progress
  • Build positive relationships with families, schools, and professionals

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Previous experience in tutoring, education, mentoring, youth work, or similar
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices
  • Ability to travel within Bournemouth and nearby areas
  • Excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
