1-1 Teaching Assistant | Norwich

We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Norwich.
The Role:
You’ll provide dedicated support to an individual pupil, helping them to access the curriculum, overcome barriers to learning, and fully participate in school life. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to implement support plans and help the pupil reach their full academic and personal potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored one-to-one support to a specific pupil.
- Implement and assist with individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies.
- Foster the pupil's independence and confidence in the classroom.
- Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
- Assist the class teacher with general classroom duties.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure consistent support.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping every child succeed.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
