This welcoming provision offers tailored educational pathways for up to 98 pupils from Year 1 to Year 11 who are unable to access mainstream education. Working closely with families, carers, and external professionals, the school delivers highly personalised programmes that help every pupil develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, engaged, and ready to learn. • Assisting with classroom learning across literacy, numeracy, and the wider curriculum
  • Promoting positive behaviour through patience, consistency, and clear boundaries
  • Helping create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment
  • Encouraging pupils to build confidence, resilience, and independence

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs
  • Remains calm, patient, and solution-focused in challenging situations
  • Can build trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
  • Is reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Has experience in education, care, youth work, or similar settings (desirable but not essential)

Driving Is Essential
