1:1 Maths Tutor

Location: Nottingham (NG5 and surrounding areas)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, one-to-one Maths tuition

• Plan and adapt lessons to meet each student’s unique learning needs and goals

• Support learners in understanding core mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies

• Prepare students for formal assessments

• Track student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

Requirements:

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths (degree level or equivalent preferred)

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring Maths

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A passion for helping students succeed and build confidence

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification

• Experience working with students with additional needs or learning difficulties

• Familiarity with UK national curriculum and examination boards
