We’re Hiring: 1:1 Core Subjects Tutor
Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential? We’re looking for a warm, dedicated, and knowledgeable 1:1 Core Subjects Tutor to join our team!
Location: Nottingham (NG7 and surrounding areas)
About the Role:
As a 1:1 Tutor, you’ll work closely with individual students to support their learning across Core Subjects – English, Maths, and Science. You’ll tailor your approach to meet each learner’s needs, helping them grow in confidence and reach their academic goals.
Whether you're helping a student catch up, prepare for exams, or simply find joy in learning, your role will make a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering engaging, tailored sessions in English, Maths, and/or Science

Building positive relationships with students and encouraging a growth mindset
-
Supporting students with revision and key curriculum content
-
Tracking progress and adjusting support as needed
About You:
-
A strong academic background in core subjects
-
Teaching qualification
-
Experience working with children or young people (tutoring, teaching, mentoring etc.)
-
Patient, friendly, and adaptable with great communication skills
-
DBS checked (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
