Teaching Personnel are working alongside one of their Partner Primary Schools to help with the recruitment of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil with behavioural difficulties and needs. The Primary School situated in South Manchester, Baguley (M22) is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a challenging Year 3 pupil. The role is to begin ASAP and will be for the remainder of the academic year with the potential of being taken onto a permanent school based contract.

The South Manchester, Baguley (M22) Primary School is looking for someone with previous 1:1 experience that is comfortable in working with behavioural needs. The pupil that the successful candidate will be working with is very academic but struggles with concentration and can be quite challenging in terms of not listening and being aggressive towards other pupils. The school is looking for someone that can be a calming nature and help the pupil be more focused in class be better behaved around other pupils on the playground and within class.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

• Previous experience working on a 1:1 basis
• Comfortable with challenging behaviour
• Display sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• An enhanced DBS registered with the update service
