1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who has a passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN) for a 1:1 Behaviour Specialist position within our client primary school in York.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a popular primary school in the central York area. Our client school has high expectations of all pupils and staff, therefore, they are seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of 1:1 Behaviour Specialist, to help keep standards high and to support individual pupils with additional needs.

The behavioural specialist would be required to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 a one to one basis. The ideal candidate would ideally have Team teach training and be familiar with deescalation skills. Teaching Personnel are running Team Teach training for those willing to develop professionally.

The ideal candidate would need to be available on a part-time basis, working weekly mornings only.
