Youth Support Worker – Primary School (KS2) | Swansea

Location: Swansea
Contract: September 2026 – July 2027 (Term Time Only)
Pay: £92.63 per day

Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day?

Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and caring Youth Support Workers to join a welcoming primary school in Swansea, supporting Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils throughout the 2026–2027 academic year.

What you'll be doing:

✨ Supporting pupils in the classroom and in small groups
✨ Building positive relationships and encouraging confidence
✨ Helping children stay engaged with learning
✨ Supporting pupils with emotional wellbeing and behaviour
✨ Working closely with teachers and school staff to create a positive learning environment

We want to hear from you if you have transferable skills from roles such as:

Security or Police
⚽ Sports Coaching
Youth Clubs or Community Groups
️ Scouts, Guides or Cadets
Care or Support Work
‍ Hospitality or Customer Service
Activity Leaders or Holiday Clubs
Personal Trainers or Fitness Instructors
‍‍‍ Parenting or caring responsibilities
Recent graduates or college leavers

Personal or voluntary experience supporting children or young people is always welcomed! ❤️

Positive and patient attitude
Excellent communication skills
Passion for helping young people succeed
Reliable and committed throughout the academic year
Willingness to learn – full training is provided!

What you'll receive:

£92.63 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
