Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Youth Mentors to work as Teaching Assistants across schools in Swansea, Carmarthen and Llanelli.

About the Role

As a Youth Mentor, you will:

• Support students who may face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges

• Work alongside teachers to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring

• Help students develop confidence, resilience and essential life skills

• Assist with classroom tasks, behaviour management and pastoral support

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with young people

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Patience, empathy and a calm approach

• Experience in youth work, mentoring, education or support roles (advantageous but not essential)

• Reliability and willingness to travel within the local area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
