Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a Youth Mentor who is able to work 1:1 with a primary aged child with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The successful Youth Mentor will be supporting the pupil for the rest of the academic year, helping them with their learning and social development and school work. The school is a primary school in Bristol and is Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’.
The role is full time- Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30. It is also term time only.
The ideal candidate MUST:
- Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.
- Passionate avbout suppritng young people with social and emotional support
- Be available to carry out a long-term role
- Be passionate about working with children and supporting learning and welfare
Highlights of this role:

- Gain support and further experience working with the school’s SLT
- One to one position working with pupils with SEMH difficulties
In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
