Year 6 Teacher – Reading
Start Date: After Easter
Contract: Full-Time

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 teacher ready to guide pupils through their final year of primary school? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Reading starting after the Easter break.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact during a crucial stage of pupils’ education, preparing them for SATs and a smooth transition to secondary school.
The Role

Full-time Year 6 class teacher

Start date: After Easter (Summer Term)

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
-
Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments (SATs)
-
Marking, assessment, planning and preparation are essential requirements
-
Work collaboratively with the KS2 team and senior leadership
-
Foster a positive, inclusive and motivating classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable)
-
Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment frameworks
-
Confident in full planning and preparation responsibilities
-
Excellent classroom management skills
-
Passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil progress

Able to commit for the full Summer Term
