Contract- Full-time
Rate of Pay: From £125 to £232.56 per day

Role and responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to a Year 6 class in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring teaching supports pupils’ academic progress and confidence.
- Create a welcoming and stimulating learning environment that nurtures pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work openly and collaboratively with colleagues, contributing positively to the wider school community.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to parents and external agencies to support each child’s progress and well‑being.
- Consistently assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, identifying when targets are not being met and implementing appropriate next steps to support improvement.
What Are We Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience teaching KS2, ideally with previous experience teaching a Year 6 class.
- Strong communication skills, confidence, and effective behaviour management.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ensuring all learners can access the curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
