Job Description
As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:
- Teach a full Year 5 curriculum, delivering engaging and well‑structured lessons.
- Plan, prepare and assess pupils’ learning in line with school and national expectations.
- Support pupils’ progress across core subjects while developing their confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and senior leaders.
- Foster a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be:
- A qualified teacher with experience in KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable).
- Confident in delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Skilled in behaviour management and building positive relationships.
- Organised, proactive and committed to high standards.
- Passionate about supporting children’s academic and personal development.
