Contract: Full-time

Rate of Pay: From £125 to £232.56 per day

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be supporting a warm, friendly and community‑focused primary school as they look to appoint an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator seeking a new challenge and a chance to make a genuine impact on pupils’ learning and development.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate teacher to take on a Year 5 class, delivering high‑quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, accurate and progressive lessons
  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive and child‑centred classroom environment
  • Communicating effectively with parents, colleagues and external agencies
  • Working collaboratively with the wider school team
  • Regularly assessing and tracking pupil progress, identifying gaps and delivering interventions where needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
