Year 5/6 Class Teacher – Aylesbury (Part Time, January Start)
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Part-time (Thursday & Friday)
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a friendly and high-achieving Primary School in Aylesbury, who are seeking a Year 5/6 Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from January 2026.
This position is for two days per week (Thursday and Friday) and will include full planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities, working closely with another experienced upper KS2 teacher to ensure continuity and high-quality learning experiences for pupils.

The Role:

Teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class on Thursdays and Fridays.

Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.

Marking, assessing and providing constructive feedback to support pupil progress.

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent curriculum delivery and pupil outcomes.

Contributing to the wider life of the school as part of the KS2 team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or 6 experience desirable).

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

A positive, reflective and collaborative teaching approach.
