About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Thorne, Doncaster. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 2 learning and committed to helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

You will lead a Year 4 class, delivering engaging lessons, supporting mixed-ability learners, and helping pupils build the essential skills they need for upper KS2. The school is looking for a teacher with strong classroom presence, creativity, and a positive, proactive approach.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Differentiate work to meet the needs of all pupils

  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations

  • Work closely with support staff and fellow teachers

  • Build effective relationships with parents and carers


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within KS2 (preferably Year 4)

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Passionate, committed, and ready to make a positive impact
