Job Title: Year 2 Teacher
Location: Wellingborough

Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Contract: Full-time, with potential for permanent placement
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher looking to make a difference in children's education and to develop professionally within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 2 students
- Mark and assess pupils’ work, providing feedback to support their learning and development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the senior leadership team to ensure the well-being and progress of all students
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to school-wide activities and initiatives
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience preferred)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners
- Ability to plan, prepare, and mark in line with school expectations
- A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
