Job Duties:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 students

- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' learning and development

- Participate in school events and meetings as required

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

- Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

- Proficient in classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education

Working Conditions:

- Work in a school setting with regular classroom hours

- May require occasional participation in extracurricular activities or events

- Collaborative work environment with other teachers and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
