Year 1 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire young learners and help them build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development.

As part of the Key Stage 1 team, you will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and independence. You’ll plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, ensuring every child thrives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• An up-to-date DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
