Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant | Llangadog | Up to £95 per Day | Weekly PAYE Pay | September 2026

We're recruiting on behalf of a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in Llangadog for a Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close-knit school community where the Welsh language is at the heart of school life. You'll play an important role in supporting pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally while gaining valuable classroom experience. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils throughout the school day.
  • Delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions.
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
  • Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing.
  • Helping create an inclusive, safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
