Primary School ALN Support - September Term Start

• Location: Llanelli 
• Start Date: September (Term-Time)
• Salary: £92.63 Per Day
• Hours of work: 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with ALN.
• Lead small-group activities tailored to learning needs.
• Adapt classroom materials to suit individual pupils.
• Support diverse needs including communication, social, emotional, and sensory.
• Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and classroom engagement.
• Collaborate daily with teachers, the ALNCo, and external professionals.
• Foster a warm and inclusive learning environment.

• Brings a passion for supporting children's development.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
• Acts proactively as a flexible team player.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with staff.
• Embraces training and ongoing professional development.
• Holds a DBS check or is willing to apply for one.

• Previous experience in a 1:1 would be ideal but not necessary 
• Background supporting autism, speech & language, or behavioural challenges is favourable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
