Primary School ALN Support - September Term Start
Job description
- Location: Llanelli
- Start Date: September (Term-Time)
- Salary: £92.63 Per Day
- Hours of work: 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with ALN.
- Lead small-group activities tailored to learning needs.
- Adapt classroom materials to suit individual pupils.
- Support diverse needs including communication, social, emotional, and sensory.
- Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and classroom engagement.
- Collaborate daily with teachers, the ALNCo, and external professionals.
- Foster a warm and inclusive learning environment.
- Brings a passion for supporting children's development.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
- Acts proactively as a flexible team player.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with staff.
- Embraces training and ongoing professional development.
- Holds a DBS check or is willing to apply for one.
- Previous experience in a 1:1 would be ideal but not necessary
- Background supporting autism, speech & language, or behavioural challenges is favourable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
