Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher to work within a highly regarded Welsh Medium Primary School in the CF11 area of Cardiff. The position is to provide classroom cover for approximately two months, starting in January with the possibility of extension depending on school needs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons through the medium of Welsh to pupils in KS1 or KS2.

  • Plan and assess pupils’ work in line with national curriculum standards.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, learning, and classroom management.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to create a positive learning environment.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Fluency in Welsh (essential).

  • Experience teaching within a Welsh Medium Primary setting.

  • A clear and enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
