Year 4 Teacher - Sickness Cover
Job description
We are currently working with a welcoming primary school in the CF3 area that is looking to appoint a Year 4 Teacher from September until October half term to cover a period of staff sickness.
The school has a strong community feel and prides itself on creating a supportive and nurturing environment for both pupils and staff. The Year 4 class is settled, enthusiastic and eager to learn, and the school is looking for someone who can provide continuity and maintain the positive learning environment already in place.
This is a full teaching role and will involve taking full responsibility for the class, including planning, preparation, assessment, attending staff meetings and working closely with the wider Key Stage 2 team. Support will be available from experienced teaching assistants and senior leaders throughout the placement.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
- Have strong behaviour management skills and high expectations of pupils
- Be able to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Be organised, reliable and able to adapt to the needs of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
