Are you passionate about helping children thrive? Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic individuals to work in primary schools in Horfield, Bishopston, Northville, Filton, St Andrews, or Lockleaze as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience and make a real difference in young learners’ lives.
If you’re caring, proactive, and have experience working with children through roles like youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, activity leadership, or similar – we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, activities, and overall running of the class in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Assisting with classroom behaviour management and facilitating a positive learning environment for all students.
- Acting as a role model for students to look up to, promoting positive behaviour, teamwork, and perseverance.
- Must have experience of working with young people in settings such as education, youth groups, sports, church, clubs, etc.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and colleagues to meet specific pupil needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
