Non-Qualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Local schools
Hours: Flexible – day-to-day and long-term opportunities available
Are you a caring, patient, and understanding individual looking to make a real difference in a school setting? We are currently seeking enthusiastic Non-Qualified Teaching Assistants to work in schools supporting children with a range of needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in education, youth work, or gaining classroom experience.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your role may include:

Working 1:1 with a student who requires additional support

Supporting small groups of pupils
-
Assisting the class teacher within the classroom

Working within a support base or specialist provision
No two days are the same, and placements are matched to your strengths and availability.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who are:

Caring, patient, and understanding

Positive, enthusiastic, and reliable

Confident working with children and young people
Previous classroom experience is beneficial but not essential.
We have found that candidates with a sports background thrive in this role — whether through coaching, team leadership, or experience working in structured team environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
