Unqualified Teacher of Food Technology

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in food technology or culinary arts, even if they do not hold formal teaching qualifications. Your real-world experience and enthusiasm for food will inspire and engage our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Food Technology for students aged 11-16.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and fosters creativity and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities.
About You:
- Significant experience in food technology, culinary arts, or a related field.
- Passionate about food and cooking, with a strong desire to inspire young minds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
- While formal teaching qualifications are not required, a willingness to work towards them is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
